MONITOR TWP, MI — Police have released the name of a Bay County man who recently fell to his death at Michigan Sugar Co. as state officials announce they have launched an inquiry.
Derrin P. Forgette, 53, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the sugar company located at 2600 S. Euclid Ave. in Monitor Township.
Bay County Sheriff’s Lt. James Chlebowski previously said that deputies arrived at the scene around 7:49 p.m. after receiving a report of an employee who had suffered a work-related death.
