The niners prepared to host the cardinals on sunday afternoon. Last night they lost to the seahawks, 2724 in overtime. They were up 11 but the niners defense caught fire. Fred warner punches this ball out and then they pick it up and run it for the touchdown. Then chased mcglaughlin who wasnt even on the team sent the game into overtime with the 47 yarder. They were driving down the field into niners territory but the niners defense stepped up with their backs against the wall. It is intercepted by greylock now on the return he is still on his feet with blockers in front. That interception set up the potential gamewinner for mcglocklin who was filling in for robbie gold. He missed the 47 yarder badly. Kicker jason myers kick the 42 yarder as time expires. They lose the first game of the season. Nobody expected the 49ers to go undefeated but they certainly have to lament the fact that if not for dropped passes, turnovers that accounted for 21 seattle points and i missed kick in overtime that could have won the game, they would be 90. It is about execution at the end of the day. Nothing crazy, do your job and execute. Move on play after play and do that the entire game. We have been good at that. I think the guys left it all out there. I know they are exhausted and disappointed. I think theyre excited to rest tomorrow and get back at it. Keep your head up. There are highs and lows and unfortunately today is one of them. We just have to capitalize. It is a get check. We will bounce back. The 49er defense has carried the team all year and some of the younger players got there first in person look at Russell Wilson, the quarterback who could be their biggest challenge all your. Pretty crazy how he never really throws the ball on time, it seems like its part of his plan to look downfield and tuck it and find a gap and jumped through the gap and then make the play. You need to rush better and stay in the lane. The 49ers will get one more crack at seattle and wilson on the final game of the season. For now their next challenge will be the second look at another mobile quarterback, arizonas kyler murray. We will look at the take away from last nights game against the seahawks and what they had for the niners. The cape fire is the latest example of what we discovered including 2000 other fires that may have been started by pg e equipment. Even though we just started dating i find you so captivating and im done with hesitating lets see where this goes . Save on a gift that says it all. Jared danny 12 hours . 20 dogs . Asy. After a day of chasing dogs you shouldnt have to chase down payments. vo send invoices and accept payments to get paid twice as fast. danny its time to get yours vo quickbooks. Backing you. A startling discovery after looking into the number of fires linked to pg e. We uncovered equipment used by the company now contributed to thousands of fires. Weve been going over thousand of incident reports. We are not just talking about the kincaid or camp fire or halfdozen others that broke out last month. They represent only a sliver of the full scope of pg e bigger fire risk. From eureka to santa barbara. From santa rosa to paradise. These red markers show more than pg e fire locations, they show how big the Companies Fire risk really is. I am totally shocked. Totally shocked. The cape for evacuations said this has been burning. I been going through this since 2017. The kincade fire is one of the latest in which pg e weapon they had been involved. It is far from the only one. Here are the fires the company has reported to regulators from 2014 until 2018. Pg e may have contributed to nearly 2000 fires in california. Through the public records request, we have investigated and got five years of data showing all the fires pg e has reported to regulators where its conductors come a transformers and other equipment may have been involved with the ignition. The fires stretch across northern and central california. They occur on average 36 times a month and have caused at least 1800 Power Outages in the last five years. It goes back to repairs and maintenance. Being responsible to the people. Of the nearly 2000 fires, the most common equipment involved was the conductor. That is the metro wiring carrying electricity. The more georgiev the fires involve vegetation in rural areas. And when looking at just last year, equipment failure made up more than one third of the suspected events to spark flames. I feel like pg e shouldve done a better job in the last two years. We went through this and 27, what are they doing . Hundreds of miles into a different jurisdiction, pg es data shows they reported farmor fire incidents then ftes, the utility counterpart in southern california. They are similar in size, however pg e does cover more highrisk fire areas. That is the conductor with insulation. He is an engineer, hes been investigating electrical fires and accidents are more than four decades. Will did not expect the numbers we showed him. No i didnt, that was new. We have a lot of incidents. This does not including equipment failure that did not result in fire but he said those situations are still cause for concern. That is an alarming story. If you live in a rural area where these lines are, would you be alarmed to look at this information . I would become a yes. Pg e refused the request for an on camera interview but they agreed to speak on the phone saying that most of the fires were less than a quarter acre. The 2018 numbers have decreased. And more animals are making contact with equipment. Even though many of these incidents may be considered small failures, he said what is at stake is to great. To me this is similar to aircraft, you dont want a lot ofs all failures when youre flying in somebodys airplane. Too many small failures and pretty soon the plane will go down. We dont know the exact number four 2019 because the reporting year is not complete. If the numbers are consistent, since 20 the figure is likely much higher. What are they doing about this . They are collecting the information and this is basically a reporting program that they have not just pg e but all the other investor owned utility programs. The companies can look at trends and hopefully solutions. At this point theres no punitive component. There not investigating. Their agencies that determine, thats cal fire and pg e said will send their own incident surveyor. Then they may alert officials. Coming up, two bay area cities have the happiest renters in the u. S. Supreme court heard oral arguments on the Trump Administrations plan to end deferred action for childhood arrival programs or daca. It protects 600,000 undocumented immigrants who came here as children from being deported. Christina run down has been following the argument. She joins is now at the latest. The oral arguments presented this morning and just wrapped up. The lead attorneys on the case spoke a few moments ago. The daca policy was lawful and constitutional. So the reason why the attorney general and the Trump Administration said they were terminating it because of it was unlawful because they did not want to take ownership of the decisions. President trump weighed in earlier writing if the Supreme Court remedies this overturn a deal will be made with dems for them to stay. This is what it looks like now outside of the Supreme Court. Dozens of people have gathered and they chant and cheer. Many are dr. Recipients themselves. They are sharing stories about the importance of keeping the Program Alive and how it has changed their lives. Right now the doctor protections show 700,000 have been saved from deportation. We are all fighting in her own way so that people and our families and in our communities dont get left behind. We are creating pathways of opportunity that we could never have imagined when we were still living in the shadows. The Trump Administration tried phasing out daca two years ago arguing it interferes with Immigration Enforcement efforts but it is been held up in the federal kurt. As they challenge whether President Trump has the authority to end the program. It was created under president obama and granted a temporary retrieve of deportation. The opinion is not expected until june but it could have a very big impact on the president ial election in 2020. The university of San Francisco is holding a daca visual on campus before noon. The no dream deferred rally is taking place at Hillview Park at 2 00 this afternoon. More rallies scheduled at the state capital. The first phase of cleanup after the kincade fire is now underway. It is not a doityourself job considering the scale and hazards hidden. We are in an area that burned. Tell us what is happening. Reporter we were in the burns on but now we have made her way to so santa rosa to the administration builder building. They tell us that cleanup should start around 11 00 this morning. They dont have a specific location on where they will start at phase one of the process will begin later this morning. Sonoma county will take your the first phase but they said that is happening today. This wont cost anything for the homeowners but they said they did pay a contractor 750,000 hazardous race review. They will get rid of oil, batteries, ammo and propane to reduce the risk. The kincade fire display 700 homes and earned 77,000 acres. It still was not large enough to trigger state or federal funds for cleanup. Thats why homeowners have to foot the bill and do it fast before the rain comes. The rains come within a month or so, so we have a time period where we need to get the ash out. Once they have this wrapped up then phase two will begin which is debris removal. Homeowners and insurers will have to pay and they will have to hire contractors. They can do it themselves if they follow the environmental rules. The Health Office declared a Health Emergency because of hazardous waste. And advisory was issued warning them not to burn foot prints without protective gear. The first part of the cleanup will begin sometime after 11 00 this morning and that will last about three weeks. Then phase two will begin. Is a short wait for the 49ers after a tough ot loss to the seahawks. Seattle was up 11 that the niners defense rallied. Fred warner punch the ball out and there you have it. Chase mcglocklin who wasnt even on the team, he had a 47 yarder to win it and obviously he missed it badly. The seahawks kicker would also have a kick. That was the final , 2724. It is the first loss of the season. Jason appelbaum is here. We both have list. Lets throw them out. You throw it on your own and 10 yard and they score a touchdown. You will not beat this team. Garoppolo could not hold onto the ball. Jimmy was coming off his last best game. This may have been his worst game, not all his fault. Two offensive tackles that he got back. They were getting pushed around. You did not expect that but still garoppolo put them in a tough position all game long. He was fumbling the ball. This one was late in the third. This led directly to points for the seattle seahawks. 2110. Like i said, that was more a product of the offensive line and not feeling the pressure and getting rid of it. It looked like they were rushed. He didnt get help from his receiver. Kendrick bourne as wide open and drops the ball. He had three or four drops. That one should have been picked off. So he got lucky as well. Not a good game overall for jimmy garoppolo. If you were listening to the 49er fans, they said he looked scared back there, looked nervous. I would say that he did not exude confidence toward the end of the game. It wasnt all his fault. Maybe thats because he was getting pressure. On the flipside youve got Russell Wilson. And he could be the mvp candidate so far. When the game is on the line, he came through for the seahawks. Theres a reason hes being talked about as mvp. Look at the touch on this ball. That put them at 1410. He buys some time and then locks it perfectly. The difference in this game really in addition to the missed field goal was Russell Wilson was outstanding when it counted. Garoppolo was not when it counted. This scramble here late in the game set up the final field goal that ashley gave seattle the wind. Our photography look at this. They looked a little bit tired. You know seattle did have five fumbles. So the 49ers defense did what we have seen them do, wouldnt you say . I would say this is the really encouraging thing about the game. We know they have a championship defense. If there is any question, i can visualize and see the 49ers playing for the championship. Look at this play. He save the touchdown by stripping metcalf. But dont give up on the play. Never give up on the play. Russell wilson was sacked five times. This one was late and resulted in the fumble. That got the niners back in the ball game. And then what about rookie dre greenlaw . They are already in field goal range. He picked this off and save the game right here. My son and i were screaming right here. Take it to the house. Like 2 million other people in the bay area. So what about the kicker . Then here you have the rookie. So he was on the beach about a week ago. I take issue with the announcers last night bigtime. Mcloughlin i mean he barely even knows the name. So we will show you video. Listen to how the announcers called on the 47 yarder that he kick to tie the game with one second. Six kicks remain. Pressure on the rookie. And boy oh boy does he deliver a 47 yard pressure kick and he puts it right down the middle. Apparently he handled the pressure pretty well right there. So what is that 20 minutes later . After he missed and then we show you this kick. A much different story when the announcers were calling the potential gamewinner in overtime, which by the way theres less pressure on the gamewinner than the one at 47. Oh he punched at a. It had no chance at all. Low and off to the left. The moment was too big. Come on. So what pressure and then 15 minutes later the pressure is too big . I am not buying that. Robbie gould has been outstanding. I am not blaming the kicker. One ended regulation. Its over. So the game continues. So the schedule is tough. Weve got green bay. And youve got the ravens and youve got the saints. There it is. Those are three of the top six teams in the Power Rankings and nfl. We will see what is what. It will shakedown of the next month and we will know if the niners are headed to a division title. The 49ers are still in first place in the nfc west. Always a pleasure. Time for the weather. It was pretty good last night for football. Good morning. In spite of the terrible loss, it was a great game. Outside today a great day. We have mostly sunny skies away from the coastline. Here are the temperatures now. We have 54 in santa rosa. Mid50s and San Francisco. We will go mostly sunny for areas into the afternoon. I see high clouds over a ridge so if we get cloud cover, it will be the midand highlevel clouds. Look as we started out with blue skies and it has transitioned to the white translucent type of sky. For the afternoon we could see more of that but visibility looks good. We see a little bit of fog remaining along areas like pacifica as well as half moon bay. The system moving through the Pacific Northwest is providing the cloud cover. No rain, we are looking at dry conditions. Unseasonably warm for the inland cities. Livermore 80. 78 in santa rosa. 72 in oakland and 74 San Francisco. We will remain partly sunny along the west to beaches. Heres the extended forecast. Not much change tomorrow. We have a cool down and look at thursday. Temperatures in the 50s and 60s on the coast and then upper 60s for areas around the bay. And upper 60s for inland cities by friday. As you can see in the extended forecast, no rain in sight. We rebound into the bear area we can. You saw me eating that chicken sandwich. After that i will need some working out. All right, coming up on mornings at two, after the big feast, we will give you tips on how to keep the extra food from sticking to you. Some exercises ahead of what we call planks giving. Eating too much is expected at thanksgiving and hitting the gym is not something people want to do either, especially after a big meal. To help keep off the weight we have to do a bunch of different planking variations. We are calling it planks giving. Joining us with the different exercises is Jennifer Raymond from rowhouse. You will show us what to do. Welcome. Jennifer, a lot of people start at this time of year stretching out. I will put on 1520 but the whole season of eating so what are some of the things we can do to get that sixpack going . That is why we came up with planks giving challenge. That challenge is running seven days. We will start off with the one minute plank. You can do it anywhere. It engages all the muscles of the body. It is easy to do. Lets see what it is. Some viewers might not even know. Lets see the plank. Whats great about applying is that it engages all the muscles of the body. You can also modify it. Britney is doing a forearm play. She could go down on her knees. If you want to start out that way thats possible. And then we have members that come into prohealth into a plank on the wall. If that is their fitness level starting out. What does this work out . Really the whole body. The shoulders and the court is and what is the most. This is so great because so many are desk jockeys and we neglect our core. That is critical for back strength. When did you first see the rise in the popularity of planking . I would say he became popular about 510 years ago. I dont know why but i have heard military switched from doing traditional situps to planks because of the effectiveness. Explain why your core strength is so important. People that dont go to the gym or maybe they go there and just get big arms. Its posture. We need to stand up and sit up and be strong. If we dont have a strong core, we will have back problems. Then you wont be able to do other fitness. And everything spirals downward. Do you guide people on how not to do too much at the beginning . Because if someone has not been working out, they might hurt themselves. Absolutely. I would like to see another beginner exercise if we can. Here is another playing variation. This is a side plank. This will get the obliques even more. So again you can see. Are those the one on the side . Yes, on the side. What happens after you start doing or what kind of results can i see if i start planking. Less say i started planking with you. First of all, i would say planking is something you want to incorporate into other exercises. Even if you start out with walking, walk to get your cardiovascular fitness and the planks will build the strength. At rowhouse, rowing is a great entrylevel work at that you can do. You dont have to have been working out because it is a low weightbearing workout. And you can do it at your own intensity. We will do time on the rower and then incorporated planks into the class. To the other question, you can see, you could do the play for 30 seconds or hold it for 40 minutes. We encourage you, do something with your family and make it a thanksgiving challenge. Maybe you start up with one minute of planks and then adding on time each day. At rowhouse we will get it up to four minutes. Jennifer, thank you. This will be a busy time of year. People have this on their minds and they dont want to gain all of that weight. This could be the lead up to new years. Start the new year right. Jennifer from rowhouse. Back to you. What caused the problem is not known but the spokesperson said demand exceeded expectation. It costs seven dollars back a month which is about half of what netflix costs. One offering is a short film about a boy and his father. [ baby sounds ] it tells the story of a loving father who does everything to make his young son fit in. From the moment he realized he has the gift that makes others stop and stare. The director of flow, bobby rubio and the producer kristi, congratulations and thank you for coming. I had the privilege of watching this yesterday. I cried. I saw myself in this story. It is really your story. Yes, the story is based off of my relationship with my son, alex. I found out that my son was different from other children. It was just me trying to deal with that. Luckily i could have this short to express my feelings. It was funny because i tell my children, there is no one else like you, all children are different from every child. How do you tell this universal story in just seven minutes . That was the big challenge. His journey took many years. But we have seven minutes to tell this big story. One of the challenge is how do we condense that and make it feel like you know a difficult journey for the dad to go through. You have to be economic with your images but also your words. There is one spoke online and i think every parent and a bad moment has said it. Why cant you just be quiet, sit down, fit in, tie your shoe. It made me reexamine how i interact with my children. Not in public. Was that another hope of years . Thats right, and we are different and outside you have this public persona. I wanted people to see themselves. I wanted it to remain true and real. And one of the gifts of that we had working with the crew is that many crew share their own story. When they had that moment with their child. What sent them over the edge and how did they feel. I think that informs what you see on the screen. Looking back, you said in the classroom throwing. Streaming services werent around when we were kids.
