We have a few brake lights as you work southbound 880 this morning. Thats due to construction around 29. Looks like they may be clearing it. In the meantime completely off the roadway. I would stick with 580 through oakland. Other than that we have a slow and go ride for that drive in to the pass. Super commuters a 30 minute drive time is when you can expect westbound 580 from 205 to 680. The brake lights start around Mountain House and a couple of crashes chp is working on. Eastbound highway 4. Theres also a wind advisory for the antioch bridge. Theres a lane blocked due to a big rig accident on highway 4marsh creek road westbound before walnut. One lane is blocked and traffic is backing up in the area. Sunday nights winds were projected to be as bad as those during the tubbs fire of 2017 but no major fires happened. Winds did knock trees onto high voltage power lines. Pg e said had they been on flames could have been sparked. Fire officials said the network of cameras helped them keep track of hot spots. Also waiting for more information on a Homicide Investigation that is on 89th near mcarthur and here is some new video of that scene. The victim was found in a vehicle there along mcarthur. We are hearing there may have been more than one victim because of reports of other shootings in the area overnight. At this point we have no idea if those were related. That happens november 3rd. The city plans to increase capacity to 50 not just for Indoor Dining but places of worship. More than 66,000 new cases were reported yesterday. Over the weekend the count reached a new record with more than 83,000 new daily cases. Cases up in 44 states and no states are seeing declines. Half of all states have set single day records for new cases. As for california we are seeing a small up tick. Yesterday the state reported about 3,000 cases. And im emily turner wher the city is a step closer to returning to life as normal.
