It is burned about 1000 acres. Only 5 contained. So schools in the area are closed today. And there are several other fires being reported as well in Southern California as well as in Siskiyou County right now between five and 10. They think these fires are being started by dry lightning. We are keeping an eye on it. Another bay area victim in the dive boat tragedy has been identified. Spiral lanes based in campbell confirms one of the employees, julia crash and maia was on board the boat. She worked at the Cable Company for about six months and lived in berkeley. At least 11 of the victims were from the bay area. We learned to other identities just yesterday. Carrie mclaughlin and christian taxman both worked at brilliant based in San Francisco. Federal investigators have been searching for clues near the site of the fire. So far they have met with victims families and interviewed crewmembers. Checking with chp, they really have no estimate as to when the lanes will be open. That means traffic is building and it is in the commute direction. That means it will be a tough one depending on how long the lanes are shut down. This is westbound 80, the commute right at San Pablo Dam road. All lanes shut down. You are back at hilltop at this point. Maybe just beyond that, very slow and go conditions. We have options. They are diverting traffic off the freeway immediately. You are getting right back on. It is not too far of a stretch that you have to travel. Its just everyone leaving their house and trying to get to the eastshore freeway will be caught up in this mess.
