So many businesses, homes damaged and completely destroyed and were not done with laura yet. Overnight, laura driving inland as a tropical depression. Torrential rains now threatening parts of the midsouth and at least two reported tornadoes in arkansas. In jonesboro, a church and several homes ripped apart. Paducah through nashville, tupelo and northern alabama. The timing of this is important because itll move through today in western tennessee and kentucky but watch by midnight. Thats when you get the heavy rains in nashville and could see spin with this and could see tornadoes still popping up from kentucky down to alabama and then as it slides east well add tropical moisture to new york, new jersey and connecticut by tomorrow afternoon. This morning were learning a lot more about how exactly things unfolded on that deadly night. Overnight, protesters back on the streets demanding justice for jacob blake. The National Guard called in from three states, and now new details emerging about the deadly shooting that erupted during a night of unrest earlier this week. 17yearold kyle rittenhouse, seen in this video before the shooting, now in custody charged with homicide accused of killing two people and injuring a third. The teen from antioch, illinois a former police cadet seen guarding a car repair shop tuesday night telling blaze tv he was armed with lethal ammunition. Were protecting it from the citizens and i just got pepper sprayed by a person in the crowd. Reporter an hour and a halfc incident unfolds detailed in a new criminal complaint. At 11 48 p. M. Rittenhouse can be seen running across a parking lot. He turns to face a protester, now identified as joseph rosenbaum, and shoots him. He picks up his phone then runs away. Rosenbaum does not survive. One minute later, at 11 49, the shooter can be seen running down the street long gun in hand, protesters tackle him to the ground. His next victim, Anthony Huber tries to grab the gun, seen in these still photos attempting to disarm him with a skateboard but he is shot in the chest and killed. Another protester is shot in the arm while his hands are raised. At 11 51 he approaches police arriving on the scene. As police move in, rittenhouse can be seen with his hands up, but hes not n uore than 12 thae hes turned himself in across state lines in illinois. In situations that are high stress, you have such an incredible tunnel vision. Reporter some now raising questions about the Police Response in light of jacob blakes shooting. Now Kenosha Police revealing new information identifying the officer who shot blake seven times in the back as rusten sheskey. Sheskey and two other officers have been placed on administrative leave and the federal civil rights investigation has been open. The other officers involved have been identified. Officer brittany marinack who joined the department in ja january. And this morning a demand for answers. Jacob blakes father saying his son is handcuffed to his hospital bed while he recovers from those seven shots to his back. There had been a warrant out for blakes arrest when sundays shooting unfolded, but no word on whether that warrant is why blake is handcuffed to his bed. Authorities scrubbing through vars you social media accounts believed to belong to the accus accused. Joining us right now is Wisconsin Attorney general. Your office is the lead on this investigation. Its an independent investigation into jacob blakes shooting. You released new information this morning. Among that information that the officer who fired the shots at blake and a second officer first used their tasers. That didnt work. Why did they need to use their tasers . The officers were attempting an arrest. They used their tasers in the course of that process. They were trying to stop mrmr. Mr. Blake. Those tasers didnt work. Mr. Blake ultimately was shot. We also know there was a knife that was found in blakes car. Did the officers that responded to the scene know there was a knife there prior to the shooting . Were not commenting on that detail at this point in the investigation. Mr. Blake stated to investigators that he had a knife in his possession. There was one found on the drivers side floor board. I got to push you on that, sir. Its a question you refused to answer so far. It was your office that released this detail about the knife. Many people would say that that disparages blake in this story that we know so far. Why not tell the full story now . Its an ongoing investigation. Were not commenting on facts that may be disputed. Ultimately this case will be presented after a full and thorough investigation to a prosecutor. If there is charges filed in this case, it will be tried in a court of law. Its our top priority to protect the integrity of the investigation. This is something the entire country is watching right now. Its at the heart of the protests were seeing. An officer holding blakes shirt when he opens fire and shoots him in the back. How does that happen . Well, thats part of what the investigation is about, is conducting a full and thorough investigation of the facts of this case so we have as complete an understanding as possible of what lead to those events, so a charging decision can be made f. The case goes before a jury, so the jury has a full and complete picture of the facts. Are the officers cooperating with the investigation . Yes, there has been corporation with this investigation.
