Arrivals from these two nations dropped by 80.6 per cent and 75.9 per cent respectively. As a result, Kenya witnessed an overall drop of 72 per cent in tourists’ numbers. This is contained in the latest report by the East African Business Council (EABC), which shows that only 567,948 tourists visited the country last year compared to 2.02 million in 2019 and 2.03 million in 2018.
