Walt Schlichting, the equalization director for Huron County, delivered the 2021 Equalization Report to the board of commissioners at their meeting this week, which measures the taxable land values across the county. Schlichting said during the meeting that with the increases in these values, the county would have more tax dollars to work with than the year before.
