Headteacher receives death threats amid school racism row

Students have protested about the failure of schools to adequately respond to the Black Lives Matter movement
The headteacher of a London school who was accused of “institutional racism” has received multiple death threats, amid warnings that teachers are facing “trial by social media”.
The executive principal of Harris Academy Tottenham was criticised on an online petition, written by Joshua Adusei, a former PE teacher at the school, of introducing a “zero tolerance” behaviour policy and expelling three black students last September.
The petition, which has been signed by over 5,000 people since it was published last week, claims that the school’s behaviour policy “disproportionately affects” pupils from black, asian and minority ethnic backgrounds as well as those with learning difficulties.
