HB 5105: WV House OKs loosening vaccine rules for students | News

A bill that would loosen restrictions on mandatory vaccinations for students in West Virginia cleared the House of Delegates, on Feb. 26, 2024, after heavy debate. House Bill 5105 would eliminate vaccine requirements for students attending public virtual schools, private schools, and parochial schools, with the exception of those participating in sanctioned athletic events organized by the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission.
