From the Archives, 1966: Twenty-four die in Queensland air d

In 1966, an Ansett-ANA Viscount airliner was shrouded in flames as it plunged to the ground in north-west Queensland. All the passengers and crew aboard were killed in the crash, in one of the worst disasters in Australian aviation history.
