Local fire services are receiving $71,400 from the Ontario government for training and safety inspection programs.
Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced the one-time funding Tuesday, which is meant to increase access to additional training, including virtually, high-speed internet and remote options to support compliance with Ontario’s Fire Code, while minimizing exposure to COVID-19.
