Demonstrators and protesters there now are occupiers and squatters, seizing part of the downtown. Some six city blocks of seattles capitol hill area. Antifa and other anarchists, black lives matter and other radical left groups have gone from owning the streets for a couple of weeks to owning what they may think is permanently an autonomous zone. In just a week, calls to defund the police have turned to we are the police in at least that autonomous zone in seattles capitol hill region. Its still under the control of antifa and other farleft groups. A border wall of sorts has been constructed around the perimeter of the zone. Anyone who isnt welcome is met by scenes like these [background sounds] [bleep] dont go away mad, just go away i want to know [bleep] [background sounds] lou a stern, rough crowd there. The states democrat governor, jay inslee, appears clueless about what is actually going on in seattle. Those, not his words, but effectively his answer when asked. Washingtons democrat senators patty murray and maria cant welshing theyve been silent cantwell, theyve been silent throughout. And the citys democrat mayor, jenny durkan, shes supporting those who have taken over part of the city. Our president wants to tell a story about domestic terrorists who have a radical agenda. Its simply not true. Lawfully gathering and expressing First Amendment rights, demanding we do better as a society is not terrorism, it is patriotism. Lou patriotism for whom . The mayors comments, however, arent nearly radical enough for one of the most radical city council members. A socialist recently led thousands of protesters right into seattles city hall. Today she took a friendly view of the armed anarchists occupying the autonomous zone, calling the area one of peace and dignity that should be in permanent control of the community. She then called for seattles a mayor, well, just resign. We have to hold the establishment in various cities accountable. This violence against a peaceful protest movement on capitol hill was caroled out by mayor jenny durkan. Tens of thousands of people in seattle are calling for her resignation. I can tell you the only thing that went all right day after day after day since the first protests on may 30th was the police, under orders by the Democratic Party establishment and mayor durkan, it was the police making things going all right. Lou did you see how interested and thrilled the cnn anchor was with her comments . Well, with the radical dems caught up in how best to bow to antifas demands, President Trump says he wont permit the lawlessness that now rages in part of seattle. He plans to straighten the city out if its leaders fail to do so. Were not going to let seattle be occupied by anarchists, and im not calling have you talked to the mayor . Im not no, but i got to see a performance that ive never seen. I mean, you think he was a weak person in minneapolis, the woman, i dont know, has she ever done this before . How can oh, its papa nettic. No, no, were not going to let this happen in seattle. If we have to go in, were going to go in. The governors either going to do it let the governor do it. Hes got Great National garden troops. He can do it. One way or the other, its going to get done. Mayor durkan tweeted this, quote the capitol hill autonomous zone is not a lawless wasteland of anarchist insurrection. It is a peaceful expression of our communitys collective grief and their desire to build a better world. Given his track record, its not hard to believe that trump wrong yet again. End quote. Theyre pandering to radical activists and not confined to the pacific northwest. In San Francisco that citys democrat mayor with has announced City Police Officers stop responding to noncriminal activities. Police funds are being diverted from the Police Department toward the africanamerican community. The citys police chief also says theyll stop releasing booking photos so as not to influence the bias of Police Officers and, of course, the public. In downtown st. Louis, the fox theater there posted tributes to both george floyd and retired Police Captain david dorn who was murdered by looters. The fox theater did what they thought was the right thing, they used two hashtags on their marquee, hashtag black lives matter, hashtag blue lives matter. The blue lives hashtag angered the radical leftwing mob. So the theater had it removed, and they apologized. We dont know whether they also had to kneel. In new york today, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order, an order demanding new york Police Departments reform or else hell take money and, of course, jocks. Jobs. Not a great recipe, it seems, for reelection for mr. Cuomo especially when the largest Police Department known as new yorks finest and, by the way, Law Enforcement organizations and agencies are some of the largest contributors to the Democratic Party. And a Senior Editor at the l. A. Times says the term looting is racist. The dems would like you to now worry about scenes like this. If you speak out and call it for what it is, looting by a violent mob, youre a racist. But the left says removing money from Police Departments will make all of this go away. Leaders in at least 34 cities and statements across the and states across the country now, Democratic Leaders we should point out, are now actively or simply considering defunding their Police Departments. The left has sown chaos in parts of this country with their obsession of race and identitybased politics, but that now is accompanied by their for power. The Democrat Party is under threat by the radical left. Not just anarchists, its a a threat that poses a large threat to the Democratic Party, a radical transformation not for the country, but for the leftwardcanted democrats. And the possibility, of course, that the extreme lefts threat may reach every american. Not pretty thoughts. Not exactly the stuff of the american dream. Well, since march more than 40 million americans have filed for unemployment benefits, but that doesnt stop the u. S. Chamber of commerce. No, sir. They are urging President Trump to bring in more Foreign Workers because they say thats a grand idea with 40 million americans occupant of work. Out of work. The relentless chamber ceo, tom donohue, writing to the president yesterday saying, quote it is crucial that they referring to american businesses have access to talent both domestically and from around the world, end quote. This year more than 37 Million People are on food stamps in the United States. Just last week another 1. 5 million americans filed for unemployment benefits. Yet the chamber of commerce that is largely responsible for many of the policies that have led to the outsourcing of millions of american jobs and, oh, yes, sending as much of the supply chain to asia in particular and china specifically, well, the Commerce Chamber remains hell bent on bringing in Foreign Workers and still maintains a posture of the hell with the american worker. Rino republican senators and candidates falling in line with the resis about the establishment resistant establishment. Theyre distancing themselves from President Trump because that worked out so well in 2018. The daily beast reviewed 15 ads by republicans in battleground states since march. Fourteen of those ads made no mention whatsoever of the president. Senator cory gardner of colorado ignored President Trump but highlighted his work with the states democratic governor, nonetheless. Senator Susan Collins ignored the president as well but promoted her work with democrat senators tim kaine and joe manchin. That should assure a landslide for collins. House rinos forfeiting their power under former Speaker Paul Ryan in 2018. They followed the same strategy of distancing themselves from the irrepressible president and the man who is the leader of the party and who is already a historic president. Im not going to let four people who interviewed the subsource for three months get blamed for this. Its not fair to blame it on the underlings if, in fact, the people at the top knew. Hes had some sort of amazing epiphany. Weve waited for years for graham to get to the bottom of obamagate. And hes been promising to get to the bottom of obamagate for almost a year and a half. That hearing featuring former Deputy Attorney general Rod Rosenstein during that time, one hearing. General Michael Flynns attorney, Sidney Powell, telling a federal Appellate Court today the criminal case against general flynn must end. The department of justice calling for the judge to dismiss the case after all of the evidence that the department of justice and the fbi worked overtime trying to frame general flynn. Powell says judge Emmet Sullivan and his shadow prosecutor that he brought in, retired judge john gleeson, has no authority to do anything further in this case arguing, quote the department of justice is the only entity that has the authority to prosecute this case. The government has quit, its time to leave the field. One of the judges questioned gleeson, arguing on behalf of, well, the [laughter] arguing on behalf what it means to have an add is very share in adversary in which the government and the defendant agree. There wasnt, apparently, a very good answer to the issue. Joining us tonight is tom fitton, the president of Judicial Watch. Tom, thats quite a spectacular moment where the three judges are basically going after Sidney Powell basically saying to her how, how can you possibly want to defend general flynn. Wouldnt it be easier if you just kind of went along with all of us in the judiciary and just let the Justice Department frame this man . This were you stunned by their demeanor and the tone of their questions . You know, we were in court last week, lou, trying to protect a lower courts ruling that Hillary Clinton testify. And we got a lot of pushback from the judges trying to, you know, second guess judge lamberts decision to try to enforce the law in his court. Now you have general anyone victimized here flynn victimized here, and i hear a panel basically having zero interest in protecting general flynn. And, you know, i tell you, you kind of get the whiff of politics here. And if general flynn is to succeed, it will be because the executive branch theyre more concerned about the separation of powers issues that the administration has a raised with the judge over taking or usurping the power of the executive branch to prosecute anyone as opposed to protecting the defendant rights of general flynn whos currently now facing having to respond to this, this terrible brief that was filed by this antitrump retired judge, judge gleeson, to help judge sullivan figure out whether to continue to harass the poor general. Its really crazy. And i dont see, based on what i heard today unless they change, you know, unless they kind of buy into the trump administrations arguments by the way, lou, the Justice Department didnt file a writ of mandamus. General flynn had to do the heavy lifting. They came along for the ride after the fact, and the court called them on that. Lou [inaudible] unreliable. Unreliable. Lou this department of justice is an enigma and many mysteries and a lot of secret es covered up. Secrets covered up. It is getting to be a little unsettling to me at least to think that this department of justice is not doing the right thing here. Youre talking about checks and balances. Were talking about coequal branches of government. We can talk til, i think the quaint phrase is til the cows come home. But the reality is this is about a Justice Department and an fbi so damn corrupt they went out and framed a general, a former general of the United States army. [inaudible] lou and they did so with impunity and with absolutely, with absolutely no fear of consequence. And, by god, listening to this Appellate Court today, watching the slow walk of the Justice Department and their obvious efforts to run out the clock after all, its only four years after they, the incident its sickening to watch because thats whats at work here. You know, when you see Lindsey Graham talk about the salacious and unverified dossier, weve known comeys known about that for years. They all knew it was a fake. Senator Lindsey Grahams finally canning for, quote, accountability asking for, quote, accountability because i suspect senator graham recognizes that the Justice Department isnt going to do anything. This is what lou do you think that the Justice Department isnt going to hold these top officials accountable to the rule of law. And if i were the president , id appoint a special counsel, authorize them to use the u. S. Marshals or a separate Law Enforcement agency. The fbi, you cant trust them to investigate themself. Were seeing the results today in court. General flynn, he would be in jail even under this Justice Department if Sidney Powell hadnt blown the whistle for him. Lou yeah. I wonder if were going to hear in his hearing any further about who gave that dossier, at least one of the people that his good friend, the late john mccain, what was his role in this. What did he think of that dossier . And perhaps he had some proximity to that given their association and friendship. I mean, you know, the questions here pile up. They pile up in a hurry. And i wonder just exactly whose motivation will prevail here, that of the attorney general strong, driving the american way and a desire for justice now or the old Justice Department that felt like it could go after, could spy on a president , it could frame a general, a National Security adviser with, again, with impunity. Because you know what . Right now all of the bull aside, we have seen zero accountability for trying to overthrow a president of the United States. It is sickening to watch, and it is just as sickening to watch the national leftwing media blind themselves to all that occurred, to see no evil, to hear no evil. Look, just last week we had an insurrection of washington d. C. The president had to suppress. They were trying to destroy the city, lou. And what is the reaction of the establishment class in this town this week . Lets undermine the police with absurd regulations, and lets undermine the thin blue line that protects us from the anarchist forces out there. We have antifa out there in seattle. Justice department, i dont know what theyre doing. Whos vindicating the civil rights of the american is citizens being held hostage within those few blocks . Lets start with the threat from a chinese official saying that the United States will face a fight if, indeed, we choose to decouple from china. This is, on its face, outrageous. Your reaction. Well, china used to say that it was impossible to decouple, and now theyre actually waging a frantic e campaign against it because they know its not only possible, but its also inevitable. Last year, lou, chinas merchandise trade surplus with the United States was 81. 8 of its overall merchandise surplus which shows you how important the United States is. And china right now is an economy that is continuing to contract. They really need the United States because their exports are declining. They need American Consumers to save the economy of china. Lou what do you say to those who argue that the United States needs china more than they need us . That is, hook at our dependency on look at our dependency on the supply chains. Look at apple. It has the guts of its business, much of it, in china. Half a million employees in china. Its really difficult to see how quickly we can decouple even though i happen to be among those who think we definitely should. Well, apple is the company that is the most dependent on china, and we have one industry, pharmaceuticals, that is dependent on china. But apart from that, we can decouple very fast, and, in fact, we have been decoupling very fast almost across the board, lou. So this is a process which began before President Trump, certainly accelerated under President Trump, and its not just the question of the tariffs under section 301 of the trade act of 1974 which has a remedy for the theft of u. S. Intellectual property. Its also lou wait a minute, did i misunderstand you . Did you say that decoupling, as you call it, started before President Trump . It started before because xi jinping, the chinese ruler, was enacting all sorts of antiforeign Company Legislation and rules. And so there was a slow start. But its certainly accelerated under President Trump. It was not only because of the tariffs, but it was also because of the coronavirus. And also there are other policies of the administration that encouraged American Companies to lead. And this is a trend that is going to accelerate largely lou well, yes. I have to say, you and i have a different view of history because, frankly, i didnt see any decoupling whatsoever. And there was, in point of fact, if you look to the ceos of wall street today, you see nothing but avarice and lust for profit in their faces and in their eyes because they are going into china in a very big way, the rushest if not the richest, the largest market imaginable on the planet right now outside of india and europe. I mean, this is, this is, this is a moment in history in which this president has to decide how to go forward. More than 100,000 americans murdered, in point of fact, by the chinese who refused to warn the world that they had unleashed a deadly contagion. Thats a, thats a straightforward act of murder. It is, lou. Lou how can you balance all of these interests . The problem here is that we know that chinese communism is unreformable, so the only way we can protect ourselves is to reduce our exposure to it. And youre absolutely right, lou, it was even worse than refusing to warn. China, during a five week period or maybe even longer, knew that this disease was humantohuman transmissable, but chinese leaders tried to tell the world it was not so contagious. And that means that this was an act, as you say, of murder. Because at the same time, the chinese leaders were pressuring countries to accept arrivals from china. Theres no other conclusion that fits the facts. This was malicious. This was an act of mass murder because were talking about, what, 300, 400,000 people kill around the world . I am pleased to is say Bishop Harry Jackson, Senior Pastor at the Hope Christian church in maryland, author of a manifesto christian americas contract with minorities. Its great to have you, harry, here and to be able to talk with you. Its good to see you. So let me start with the president. Thank you, sir. Weve got something going on here that is very difficult to really understand. Weve got a lot of viewpoints, weve got a lot of collision. But what we are witnessing now just, for example, in Seattle Black lives matter complaining because the anarchists have taken over their messaging. Your reaction to what weve witnessed, what weve experienced and where we are now. Well, i believe this is time for courage and leadership, and i believe the president has both of those. But one of the challenges is that this crisis is trying to be exploited by the Democratic Party. When you knelt down at the capitol building, that was a bridge too far. It was almost as though they were saying we believe in you, black america. The problem is that they had eight years of a presidency, four years with both the house and senate locked up, and they did nothing. Criminal Justice Reform was led by President Trump. The Opportunity Zone is helping right now in realtime in urban america to revitalize. The unemployment level of blacks, i could go on and on and on, trump has a minority doctrine that is for black people. But with, but, lou, one of te problems right now is they want to, the democrats want to use these assaults to alienate minorities against trump. If they lose the black vote, hispanic vote, they lose. Now there are two messages that have to come out. And theres a tension, i want to encourage your people watching to work with me with this tension. First tension is that africanamericans need to know somebody cares about the loss of life. And this goes back to jim crow and the history. Its not just current america. And then the second thing is Everybody Knows weve got to keep america safe. I believe africanamericans are looking to hear we care. The president doing what he did in dallas, speaking from the heart, will help turn and comfort africanamericans. And then there needs to be a Clear Strategy to protect the cities and then to reform in the places that need it what policing looks like in america. Two separate things. Cant talk about [inaudible] i think a listening tour is huge, lou. Lou right. Is that the president who has a quick mind, hes decisive, actually sat and listened to a mostly black panel. His Vice President did that in my church in d. C. The week before. And i believe that i said this and youll like it, i believe that this administration obviously you and i have talked about race many times. They did not create this problem despite what the democrats want to do, pointing fingers. The problem was here look ago. My father, he saw people hanging from trees, all kinds of crazy things. But we have the privilege of a courageous, strong leader. He can fix something he didnt start. And i believe itll advance the american dream. I believe that kings dream was not just kings ownership, i believe it was something inspired by god that even the pilgrims wanted in america, the mayflower compact. Last [inaudible] church leads the way. What were dealing with in america, it was the church that started the Abolitionist Movement and started the republican party. It was the church that decided that in the middle of civil war that many whites who had never seen a slave lost their lives to free folks. Civil rights movement, did you know the naacp was started by a majority white group because of black lynchings in the early 20th century . So its always been a mixedrace, primarily religious group that have led moral reform in our nation. And i believe were about to do it again. And im calling for a Prayer Movement followed up by specifics. I told the president yesterday id like to lead about 50 of these round tables where people regionally saw the problem. You and i agree that love intangible is not going to solve this problem. But love with servants clothes on can change america. And i believe mr. Trump is big enough, strong enough, bold enough to take action that will change our lives. Lou well, Bishop Harry Jackson, youve given us, as always, a lot to think about, to consider carefully. I mean, once the left, if they succeed, they dont only want to dismantle our Current Police, they want to replace our Current Police with the thought police who go around patrolling every thought that they find objectionable. And if the left ever gains control of this country again, i predict its going to be like the french revolution. Its going to be bring out the guillotines and execute every thought they object to and every person who holds every thought that they object to. That is why what happens in november is so crucial.
