Elizabeth Smart, 33, and her husband, Matthew Gilmour, took a vacation last week in Cancun
Kidnapping survivor posted images on her Instagram showing her and her husband near Mayan pyramid as well as on the beach in Mexico 
She posted about the importance of 'self care and relationship building'
Smart has kept up her public profile as advocate for kidnapped children and victims of sexual assault
In January, she was revealed as Miss Moth character on Fox's The Masked Dancer
She spoke to E! News about her experience on the show, and also about her home life with her husband and three children
