Stuermer will oversee sales, marketing and revenue management for the property, which opened in October 2019 in SoBro.
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality management industry, Stuermer has held leadership positions at Marriott and Starwood Hotels, Westin Hotels, Luxury Collection and St. Regis. She joins Margaritaville from Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown.
Stuermer is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, Texas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle as our newest team member leading the sales and marketing of the hotel,” Margaritaville Hotel Nashville General Manager Jeff Webb said in the release. “Her seasoned experience, familiarity with the city, and passion for the industry will continue leading Margaritaville Hotel Nashville as a top destination within the vibrant Nashville market.”
