Urban forest creator has envisioned more projects. Celebrating its eighth Foundation Day on July 27, the Anandvan Mitra Mandal (AVMM) is looking back at not only the forest it has created on four acres of hill land, but also looking forward at its vision to give Pune 10 more urban forests. Recently, volunteers of AVMM launched the Anandvan-2 project, aimed at creating a forest on 11 acres; they are also looking at a larger project of a 150-acre urban forest in Mohammawadi, to be helmed by one of the largest NGOs in the city.
