大學真的就是「由你玩四年」嗎？於西元2005年，有一群不願意大學只是玩四年的同學，在台大成立第一個「新心社」！至今四年多來，「新心社」已經拓展至政大、師大、世新、實踐、文化、臺科大、東南科大、景文科大、輔大、陽明、致理……等大專院校；更有多所學校的「新心社」正在積極籌辦申請中。.

新心社是用基督的愛，加上學生青年們的熱情和抱負來服務校內外人士的服務性社團（「新心社」的服務非常出色，還曾於2008年榮獲台大「非學術性服務獎第二名」、2010年政大新心社榮獲「優等社團獎」）。也許在校園裡，妳╱你曾在盛夏的午後，喝過一杯冰涼的果汁；在酷寒的北風裡，接到一杯暖暖的咖啡；或是在期中、期末考期，收到一包令人感激涕零的勵志「All Pass糖」或被邀約參加溫馨無比的雞湯會？沒錯，那就是「新心社」同學在校園裡的愛心關懷行動！.

「新心社」與「美麗人生全人關懷協會」合作，在台北市最大平價住宅「安康社區」進行每周一次的住家探訪；開設國中、小學生課輔班，學習服務弱勢族群，讓社員學習用不同的價值觀看待社會。也與各校優良老師合作開設服務課程，與通識課程；在學期中組織「生命成長小組」彼此扶持成長，讓社團成為一個很溫暖並很有愛的大家庭！.
