.本名吳俊霖，華語區最知名的搖滾歌手，詞曲創作人，音樂製作人，演員，攝影家，已成軍二十四年之搖滾樂團伍佰 & China Blue的主唱及吉他手。專輯『樹枝孤鳥』曾獲第十屆金曲獎最佳演唱專輯獎，個人並以『雙面人』專輯獲得第十七屆金曲獎之最佳台語男演唱人獎，除個人專輯之演唱，製作，詞曲外，也為其他多位亞洲知名藝人製作及詞曲創作，如劉德華，張學友，王菲，那英，莫文蔚，萬芳，徐若瑄，譚詠麟，謝霆鋒，蔡依林等。1990年出道至今，所有作品於華語圈獲獎無數，1997年並獲美國Billboard排行榜及【Ｖ】合頒之亞洲最佳創作藝人獎。共發行26張個人專輯，台灣區專輯總銷量已累計超過五百萬張。曾為電影『少年耶，安啦』 『只要為你活一天』 『聖石傳說』 『散打』等創作電影歌曲，並主演陳國富導演的『徵婚啟事』及徐克導演的『順流逆流』，以及紐承澤導演的電視劇『求婚事務所之戀戀風塵』。由伍佰代言的『台灣啤酒』『黑松沙士』『風火之旅線上遊戲』『維士比』等商品皆造成話題。伍佰並於2011年於台灣北中南三地及新加坡，馬來西亞等地舉辦個人攝影展“More Earth”。2013年舉辦第三次攝影個展“橋飛雪”。.

伍佰& China Blue 自1992年成軍以來，四名團員從未更換，90年代在台灣成功掀起搖滾樂團Live 演出及新台語歌的風潮。曾在台北市立體育場，香港紅勘體育館，新加坡室內體育館，馬來西亞室內體育館，北京首都體育館，北京工人體育館，上海梅賽德斯文化中心，美國House of Blues，台北小巨蛋，高雄巨蛋等十大指標性演唱會場館，舉辦售票演唱會。1998年舉辦的台灣『空襲警報』巡迴演唱會及亞洲巡迴演唱會，共吸引當時破紀錄之12萬人次購票入場，2007年開始舉辦的『妳是我的花朵』世界巡迴演唱會，巡迴亞洲及美洲共11個城市總計14場演出，2012年20週年『大感謝』世界巡迴演唱會，更巡迴14個城市，不負伍佰『King of Live』之美名。伍佰& China Blue於2015年第十二次展開其大型巡迴演唱會『無盡閃亮的搖滾全經典』，歷年來上千場的演出包括新加坡，馬來西亞，香港，上海，北京，西安，成都，廣州，日本，韓國，美國，加拿大，澳洲等地無不造成轟動。伍佰於2006年發表的『妳是我的花朵』歌曲及“花朵舞”，不但在台灣成為國民舞曲，更隨著伍佰& China Blue的世界巡迴演唱會跳到世界各地，總計已有二百萬人次和伍佰齊跳“花朵舞”！.
