ولها فروع في كلٍ من سويسرا (جنيف و مونترو)، وإسبانيا (برشلونة)، وألمانيا (ميونيخ)، أما مكاتبُها الإدارية فتقع في إيفورن، سويسرا.التاريختأسست الجامعة الأوروبية في أنتفيرب سنة 1973 على يد كزافييه نيبردينغ وفي بروكسل سنة 1982 على يد العميد دومينيك جوزو.
أما رئيس الجامعة الحالي وأستاذ كرسي اليونسكو للعلاقات الدولية، وإدارة وريادة الأعمال فهو الدكتور ديرك كراين.
فبعد انضمامه إلى الجامعة كأستاذ مساعد سنة 1977، أصبح كراين أستاذاً وعميداً لفرع الجامعة بمونترو سنة 1985 ورئيساً جديداً سنة 1998.
وقد منحتْه جامعة روستوف الحكومية للاقتصاد (RSUE) لقبَ أستاذ فخري سنة 2012 ومُنح وسام التاج (البلجيكي) سنة 2014.
