Detailed description is АЭС Прейри-Айленд — действующая атомная электростанция на севере США.Станция расположена в пойме реки Миссисипи близ городка Ред-Уинг в округе Гудхью штата Миннесота.Строительство станции Прейри-Айленд завершилось в 1973 году, когда АЭС и была запущена .
Всего на станции построили и запустили два реактора, которые относятся к типу реакторов с водой под давлением PWR производства Westinghouse.
Мощность первого реактора АЭС Прейри-Айленд составляет после всех модернизаций 566 МВт, а второго – 640 МВт.
