Detailed description is Türkiye Kamu-Sen ve Türk Eğitim-Sen Genel Başkanı.24.05.1959 tarihinde Ceyhan'da doğdu.
İlk-orta ve lise tahsilini Ceyhan da tamamladıktan sonra Eskişehir Eğitim Enstitüsü İngilizce bölümünden, 1980 yılında mezun oldu.
Bu arada Atatürk Üniversitesi Temel Bilimler Fakültesi Yabancı Diller Yüksek Okulunda da okudu.
Öğretmenliğe 1981 yılında Konya'nın Beyşehir İlçesi Doğanbey Beldesinde başladı.
1985 yılında Adana'ya atandı.
1992 'den 1996 yılına kadar Türk Eğitim-Sen Adana Kurucular Kurulu üyesi ve yönetim kurulu üyesi olarak çalıştı.
1996 yılından 2005 yılına kadar Türk Eğitim-Sen Adana 1 Nolu Şube Başkanlığı ve Türkiye Kamu-Sen İl Temsilciliği yaptı.

Olağan Kongresinde Merkez Denetleme Kurulu üyeliğine, 2005 yılında 2.
