Detailed description is Église de Pantin est une station de la ligne 5 du métro de Paris, située sur la commune de Pantin.HistoireLa station est ouverte en 1942.
Elle sert de terminus de la ligne 5 jusqu'au 25 avril 1985, date à laquelle le prolongement jusqu'à la station Bobigny - Pablo Picasso est mis en service.Son nom provient de sa proximité avec l'église de Pantin.La station fut un important lieu de correspondance avec les lignes de bus circulant sur la RN3 vers la banlieue est.
Ce rôle a décru avec le prolongement de la ligne vers Bobigny.Au matin du 7 juin 1982, après un violent orage survenu la veille, les eaux de pluies se sont engouffrées par les chantiers du prolongement vers Bobigny et ont envahi le terminus d'Église de Pantin.
