Ditch the boring workout and come join the party! I am Selina Wincott and I teach Zumba®, Zumba Gold® and Latin partner dancing on the Northern Gold Coast and Southside Brisbane.
Originally from Liverpool, UK, I emigrated to Australia in 2005.
I started Latin and Ballroom dancing at an early age, achieving bronze, silver and gold medals.
I formed a professional female cabaret group and performed for a number of years in the UK and Europe as a dancer/back-up singer.
Since arriving in Australia I have become a Latin dance instructor with Lets Dance Co and as a qualified fitness instructor I also used my expertise to choreograph and instruct their Latin Fit classes - pretty much like Zumba Fitness, held throughout various gyms.
Naturally, when Zumba Fitness came about I got hooked immediately and knew this was my calling.
I get this huge buzz from those feel-good vibes that Zumba and its music creates.
With Zumba every class feels like a party! You don't even have to know how to dance, just move your body and enjoy the beautiful music from all around the world.
It's so much fun you don't even realise the hour has gone! Anyone can join the party, get into the groove and spread that Zumba love!.
