Zion Lutheran Church was established in 1964 as a mission congregation by the former American Lutheran Church, one of 3 church bodies that in 1988 formed the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Our first worshipservice was heldon June 7th, 1964 in our newly constructed sanctuar.
On October 18th, 1964, the 75-family parish was officially organized.
Rev.
Thomas R.
Boyer was installed as pastor and the building dedicated..

A classroom and office addition to the original structure was constructed in 1968.
Our present 500-seat sanctuary was built in 1975-76, and another classroom and kitchen addition was completed in 1994..

Johnson (1983-1988), Glenn H.
Schoonover (1989-1991) Edward Holloway, Jr.
