PENUBUHAN.

YADIM ialah sebuah badan amanah yang ditubuhkan oleh Allahyarham Tun Haji Abdul Razak bin Hussin, YAB Perdana Menteri Malaysia yang kedua pada 1 Muharam 1394, iaitu 25 Januari 1974 yang bertujuan menyelaraskan kegiatan badan-badan dakwah serta NGO agar berjalan seiring dan sejajar dengan dasar negara serta menjadi pemangkin ke arah penyebaran dakwah di Malaysia..

YADIM ialah sebuah badan amanah yang didaftarkan di bawah Trust Incorporation Ordinance 1952 yang bertanggungjawab secara langsung kepada YAB Perdana Menteri.
Pengurusan YADIM bermula dengan Yang Dipertuanya yang pertamanya, iaitu Allahyarham Tan Sri Datuk Syed Nasir bin Ismail (Tun) dan diikuti oleh beberapa orang Yang Dipertua yang berkaliber, iaitu Allahyarham YBhg.
