Xtreme Wild Rose (XWR) is a dynamic club dedicated to promoting the sport of obstacle racing.
XWR is affiliated with the Extreme Cowboy Racing Association (EXCA) well known in Alberta for the Cowboy Up Challenge, seen annually at the Calgary Stampede, where people from all over Canada and the USA to showcase their skills at obstacle racing.

Based out of Wild Rose Arena, XWR is located between Red Deer and Rocky Mountain House, and now holding events throughout northern and central Alberta.
Wild Rose Arena has been offering horse obstacle clinics for over 6 years, helping riders of all ages increase their horse knowledge, riding skills and the appreciation of good horsemanship.
