Detailed description is SHCAB is a student run, non profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of children around the world through empowerment, recreation, and wellness One of SHCAB's current projects is Working for Worcester, taking place in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts.
The project is a city-wide partnership of student organizations, local businesses, academic institutions, city government, and community groups.
Last year's project successfully brought together 540 college students from 7 of Worcester's universities to literally build $62,000 worth of recreation infrastructure and programming at 12 sites around the city.
The project was an incredible moment of collective community action and engagement for the city's college student and resident populations.
