Detailed description is Word n' Canvas is a "sub company" of my Art Studio-Out on a Whim.
A "traveling art party"- creating on canvas and various objects, led by yours truly What are Word n' Canvas Art Parties? Word n' Canvas is a sub-company of my Art Studio- "Out on a Whim".
-I (Jennifer Kennedy) lead you and your friends in a private art party -providing all the supplies needed to produce your art piece, this can happen in your home, a friend's home, -or MY home ...my "garage studio" opened this spring, and I have been able to host parties there :) -it is not heated :( ...
planning to change this soon, so that I can host there through the winter as well ...a Word n' Canvas Art Party could be open to the public at a local venue.
Hobby Lobby, Avon has a great class room available :), at your church , or charitable group meeting location, Word n' Canvas Art Parties can also be planned as fundraisers.
Art Parties are sooo, much fun! Mine are named "Word n' Canvas" because I love using words on my canvases, single words of significant meaning to me, a poem, song lyric, or Bible verse.
Our words are sooo powerful! The Bible says....

I want to speak and create with words that bring LIFE!.

I want your piece to be yours, so you get to choose colors/patterns/words etc..
Also, you don't have to use any words on your canvas, but, I think- like me, you may be tempted to :) I can instruct on various canvas techniques- craft acrylics, watercolors...
as well as other media, -paper pieces, pen and ink, graphite sketching.
Using various "canvases" i.e.
stretched linen/denim/burlap, wood pallets, pillow covers.Salt dough- Christmas ornaments ...
etc.
simply ask me -if you have another canvas/media choice in mind..
