Detailed description is A popular cherry orchard which people tell us have the best tasting cherries in the Valley.
Woodstock Cherries is a family business owned by the Oakford's of Cygnet, Tasmania.
The land on which the orchard now sits was purchased in 2000.
At present the orchard has 10,000 trees.
We have been harvesting cherries since 2006 and our annual production is in the region of 40 to 50 tonnes, most of which is exported..

Michael Oakford and his son Andrew look after the orchard throughout the year and also during harvesting.

In the harvest season Carmel, Michael's wife, runs the farm gate or “Cherry Tent” as it is commonly known around the area, where our cherries are sold to the general public..
