Detailed description is THREE North Carolina Mountain cabins for rent next to Wolf Creek Lake in Tuckaseegee NC.
Are you looking for a great getaway in the beautiful mountains of Wester North Carolina? This is your place! We are right across the road from Wolf Creek Lake in Tuckaseegee NC.
The lake is great for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and boating! We are also within minutes from Tanasee Creek (affectionally called "Peanut Butter Lake" by our campers) which is also great for fishing and kayaking.
Many more locations for kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing and more are wonderful day trips from our cabins!.

Currently we have three newly constructed cabins on our family owned property.
Oakview Cabin is up on the mountain and has more mountain views.
Pineview and Windy Hollow (both named after camper cabins from our summer camp) are the newest.
Pineview is centrally located and closest to the lake, Windy Hollow is lower on the property with a great view from the porch.
Both Windy Hollow and Pineview Cabins are pet-friendly..

All cabins come fully furnished with full kitchens, landlines, flat-screen TVs, satellite TV with premium channels, DVD players, BBQ grills, roomy porches, master bedroom with queen bed, loft bedroom with four twin beds or two twin beds and two twin cots, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee maker, central heating and air conditioning, gas fireplace in living room, bathroom with shower, limited WIFI is included for directions and messages, cell service is spotty at best, all linens are included as well as basic cleaning supplies, laundry and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, toiletries, iron and ironing board, towels and lots of nice quiet privacy!.

Camp Winding Gap operated from 1979 to 2008.
During this time the owners purchased this property near the camp and next to Wolf Lake.
For years this was a destination for the campers to use on overnights and trips for horseback riding, hiking, camping and canoeing.

After the camp closed, the owners kept the property and recently built a beautiful remote cabin on the mountaintop there.
The first cabin- Oakview- was open for rental in the Spring of 2014.

As of Spring 2016, we completed all three cabins and during our first year we reached max capacity bookings during our very first summer!.
