Detailed description is The W&J Dance Team is an actively involved dance group, performing at Basket Ball Games, our own Spring Fling competition and many other local activities.
The Award Winning W&J Dance Team is an actively involved dance performance group.
The team performs during halftime of basketball games, the Washington Christmas Parade, and two to three dance competitions as well as participating in the W&J Street Fair, Charity Events, as well as various other functions as the opportunity arises..
This past year the W&J Dance Team competed at the StarQuest Dance Competition and W&J's own Spring Fling Dance Competition..
Practices are held at Evolving Artist Dance Studio located in Washington.
The School owner, Mandi, works on technique and choreographs a large portion of the dance routines.
Routines consist of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary dance styles.
Practices are held 2-3 times a week.
Times are selected based on the class schedules of all group members..
During the first week of each academic year, the team has a booth at W&J Involvement Expo where all students can learn about and join campus clubs including the team..
