We welcome new families & facilitators! Wild Child Farm & Think Bliss Academy together create opportunities for farm based education & creative unschooling.
We're a fully insured home school collective in the very beginning stages of pursuing non-profit status.

We believe in focused learning, but also in allowing ourselves to be bored.
Learning to learn is repeatedly emphasized.
We let go of "have to" and emphatically embrace "get to!" We accept that "this is boring" when it's on a worksheet, but essential and usually engaging when trying to figure out how we're going to build that slack-line, determine the climbing wall height, measure our fabric, figure out the cut pattern, plan our garden, or read that historic document.
We believe the only way to succeed is to challenge ourselves and fail, repeatedly, until we succeed.

The more families engaged, the more options there are for learning & exploration.
Pre-teens and teens can earn program fees by leading their own activities or gatherings, actively assisting in grounds & garden keeping.
We can be a single day or full week program or even a la carte by individual program.
However, please understand that we are in no way a child-care service and all children under 8 must be joined by a responsible party.
We are more than happy to discuss your particular situation and needs on an individual basis.
