Detailed description is TWO LOCATIONS! Whitewater river rafting adventures and custom packages in Grande Cache and Revelstoke.
Wild Blue Yonder White Water Rafting offers white water rafting trips in Grande Cache, Alberta (since 1998), and at our second location, we also have rafting trips in Revelstoke, BC (since 2016).
In Revelstoke, we have trips on the Illecillewaet River in Mt.
Revelstoke National Park, and on the Columbia River, we have a themed rafting adventure for kids, The River Pirates.
In Grande Cache, we have intermediate and advanced day trips, and also an overnight rafting and camping trip on the Kakwa River.

GRANDE CACHE TRIPS: .

1) Sulphur River: Intermediate, class 2/3+.
Duration 4 hours.

A non-stop party of paddling and jaw-dropping scenery! The Sulphur Canyon plunges 300 feet down then twists and turns all the way to the Sulphur Gates; Grande Cache's top scenic spot.
Shoot moderate raids, dodge boulders and squeeze through the tight spots while team-paddling.
Between giggles and shouts, magic happens as your group comes together.
COST: Adults $85 +tax Child (8-11) $65 +tax.

2) Sheep Creek: Advanced, class 4.
Duration 4 hours.

There's no room for beginners as we launch immediately into solid class 4 raids! The river comes at you hard and fast, and it's relentless.
You'll never feel more alive as you're being buried in white water and your guide is barking commands.
Sheep Creek plays for keeps, but not for long: only available late May to early July.
The real craziness is in June when previous experience & good physical fitness is required.
Lower water is usually in July, when previous experience is not required, but a good state of fitness is still recommended.
You must be 18+, no exceptions.

3) Sulphur River & Sheep Creek: Intermediate & advanced, class 3/4+.
Duration 8 hours..
If you want the scary stuff, but don't have the experience, this is your trip.
Get into the groove on the Sulphur River, where the twists and turns of the canyon pump up your paddling.
Then board the blue bus for the Sheep Creek madness: a super-steep, paddle-your-face off thrill of a lifetime.
Good physical fitness required, must be 18+.
ID may be required.

4) The Kakwa River Extreme: Intermediate & advanced, class 3/4+.
Duration 2 days..
A classic backcountry adventure with big class 3/4 water, remote wilderness and riverside camping.
It's a gentle start and even beginners get time to learn the strokes, but then it all goes crazy! You won't know whether to laugh or scream as we hit the raids hard, get pounded with water and dig in! A new challenge awaits around every corner and then, wet and happy, it's time to hit the beach.
Soon, cozy and warm, you'll dig into freshly-prepared meals and the join in the buzz around the fire.
And as the river rumbles on, you'll drift off to dreams of the next big wave...
because tomorrow the river awaits.
