Detailed description is Die Wigger ist ein 41 Kilometer langer Fluss in den Schweizer Kantonen Luzern und Aargau.
Sie ist ein wichtiger Nebenfluss der Aare und fliesst auf fast ihrer gesamten Länge in Süd-Nord-Richtung.
Die bedeutendste Ortschaft im Wiggertal ist Zofingen.VerlaufDer im obersten Teil Enziwigger genannte Fluss entspringt am Nordhang des Napfs, unweit der Grenze zum Kanton Bern, auf einer Höhe von rund 1300 Metern.
Durch ein enges Tal fliesst er steil abfallend nach Hergiswil, wo das Tal breiter und wesentlich flacher wird.
Kurz unterhalb des Städtchens Willisau vereinigt er sich mit der Buchwigger und heisst fortan Wigger.
Das Tal weitet sich zu einer flachen und breiten Ebene.
Nördlich von Dagmersellen ist die Wigger grösstenteils kanalisiert und verläuft teilweise parallel zur Autobahn A2.
Zwischen Reiden und Brittnau wird die Aargauer Kantonsgrenze überquert.
Zwischen Rothrist und Aarburg mündet die Wigger auf einer Höhe von 395 Metern in die Aare.Nebenflüsse der Wigger sind die Seewag, die Wanger-Rot, der Ron, die Luthern und der Hürnbach.
