At the 2010 census the population was 17, down from 116 at the 2000 census.GeographyWhitestone Logging Camp is located on the northern side of Chichagof Island at .
It lies adjacent to the south side of the city of Hoonah.
The community of Game Creek lies adjacent to its southwest side.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 28.4km2, all of it land.DemographicsAt the 2000 census, there were 116 people, 36 households and 28 families residing in the CDP.
The population density was 11.1 per square mile (4.3/km²).
There were 45 housing units at an average density of 4.3/sq mi (1.7/km²).
