Residents are responsible for taking all emergency room call for pathology below the tibial tuberosity at both Westside Regional Medical Center and Plantation General Hospital.
Residents perform 1000+ surgical cases and 2,000+ surgical procedures along with 1500+ office encounters.
Academics are held on Tuesday/Thursdays, and are supplemented with numerous hands-on workshops and cadaver labs.
All PGY Residents are required to publish a manuscript in a peer reviewed journal (JFAS, FAS, FAI, etc) prior to their graduation.
