Shane Loiselle, the sole proprietor of this one man shop, has been a professional musician and instrument repair technician and luthier for many years and worked alongside his good friend and mentor, the late, great Frank Lucchesi in the renowned fine instrument repair and sales shop, Lucchesi Vintage Instruments that was located in Easthampton, MA.
Frank was a great teacher to Shane and a deeply respected fine instrument historian and luthier who took great pains as well as patience to pass on his considerable knowledge of the history of, and the repair of, fine musical instruments while Shane worked with him.
After Franks sudden passing on September 29, 2007, the shop became known as Luthier's Co-Op where Shane had been a co-founding member until June 2011.
Hundreds of instruments of all varieties have passed through the shops Shane has worked to very satisfied customers and it is his desire to continue that practice for every customer who walks through the shop doors.
