Mission.
The mission of the WCHS Athletic Boosters is to enhance and supplement the sports programs at West Carteret High School.
The Boosters shall seek to create among students, faculty, staff, and administration, as well as community patrons in business and industry, a sincere interest and pride for our sports programs..

Purpose.
The basic objective and purpose of the WCHS Athletic Boosters is to arouse and maintain an enthusiastic interest in athletic-related activities, to assist in fund-raising activities, and/or to assist with school officials were ever needed to maintain highly competitive and quality sports programs.
We promote ways and means and provide for the needs of the sports programs above and beyond those supplied by the Carteret County School System.
The WCHS Athletic Boosters do not make policy or discipline students.
This is the role of the athletic directors, the principal, and the school system’s administration..

We provide financial support through fundraising activities such as: The Patriot Club sponsorship campaigns, Captain’s Mess Dinner, Patriot Pavers, West Wear, Concessions, and other one-time fundraising events.
Monies raised through these activities are used for athletic equipment and/or uniforms, capital improvements to facilities, Conference and State level dues, State Playoff Travel Expenses, awards, Senior Night activities and various other major and minor needs..

Booster Patrons.
The athletic programs at WCHS continue to grow and expand.
However, the financial support from the school system continues to shrink.
We simply can not operate quality sports programs at WCHS without your support.
All parents of student athletics are invited to become members of the Athletic Boosters.
Meetings are held monthly on the first Monday of the month beginning in August.
If you are passionate about sports and want to preserve the unique opportunities for West Carteret student athletes provided by sports programs we need you to join our T.E.A.M..
