Detailed description is West Bryan County Fire Department is a Fire and Rescue station, we provide emergency services to the town of Mead, OK and surrounding areas.
West Bryan County Volunteer Fire Department is a fire and rescue department providing emergency services to the town of Mead, OK and much of the surrounding area.
We provide first-due coverage to an area spanning approximately 110 square miles.
We provide mutual aid for all of Bryan County and surrounding counties.
Our Department is also available to respond to large scale incidents in Oklahoma and surrounding states.
Our first-due area is comprised of residential, small businesses, restaurants, manufacturing facilities as well as vast expanses of land.
Our department covers the majority of one of Oklahoma’s biggest tourist attractions, Lake Texoma, one of the biggest man-made lakes in the United States..
West Bryan County Fire Department is currently funded through county tax and via a small operations grant from the great state of Oklahoma.
