Detailed description is The Watseka Park District is proud to serve the Watseka community by providing services such as the toddler program, after school program, summer camps, birthday parties, and much much more! Meet Our Members:. . Todd Oster. Todd is the Watseka Park District President of the Board of Directors. He and his wife and 4 children reside in Watseka. He has been on the board for 9 years. Todd has coached in the WPD soccer program for 13 seasons and the Youth Basketball program for 8 seasons. Todd has been instrumental in securing permanent soccer fields, the current office location and all of its improvements. Todd has an extreme desire to see the Watseka Park District grow and continue to offer rewarding programs and opportunities to Watseka and the surrounding communities.. . Rich Moyer. Rich is the Watseka Park District Vice-President and Treasurer. He has been a board member for 4 years. Rich is married to Lynette and father to Jeremy, Brandon and Justin. He has lived in Watseka for 28 plus years. He has been employed with Pence Oil Co. for 27 years. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and has been involved with the Watseka Little League board for 17 years. Rich is committed to the Watseka Park District and all of its endeavors.. . Don Pavlak. Don joined the board in August of 2014. Don accepted the Operations Manager position at a local radio station and moved his family to Watseka in May of 2012. he and his wife Darcy have 5 children, with 2 living at home and attending Watseka schools. His 3 older children live in Kentucky, along with his 3 grand-daughters. Before joining the park board, Don accepted a position with Smash Hit Media, and Iroquois County based company and is part of the management team that oversees radio stations in Farmer City, Paxton and Hoopeston. Sports is a big part of Don's life as well, having coached travel baseball teams, youth league teams and Major League Baseball's RBI team in Missouri. Being in the radio business for over 25 years, Don has had the opportunity to work in many places including Kansas City, Cleveland, and Akron, Ohio. Don and his family enjoy Watseka very much and plan on making this area home. Don is currently the chair for the Information Management Committee for the Watseka Park District.. . Brett Lamie. Brett joined the board in August of 2014. He grew up in Kankakee and graduated from Bishop McNamara High School. Brett lived in Salt Lake City for 10 years and moved to Watseka in 2008. Brett has 3 daughters and works for Pence Oil Co in Watseka as well as being a part-time sports announcer for WGFA Radio in Watseka. Brett has coached youth baseball for 6 years with the Watseka Little League. Brett is the chair of the Building and Ground committee and is responsible for improvements and updates to the current building. Brett is also the Secretary of the park board.. . Scott Killy (Scott is also an Ohio State Buckeye fan just like Sherry). Scott is originally from Toledo, Ohio. He has been married for over 18 years and has 6 children ranging in age from 5 to 13. He is the past of Amazing Grace Church in Watseka. Amazing Grace is a missionary church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Scott also works at MainSource Bank in Watseka. He loves Jesus Christ, history, sports, travel and getting involved in the community. He also coaches youth football and has experience in planning large community events and leading children and youth programs. Scott is excited to serve Watseka as part of the Watseka Park District Board.
