Detailed description is Vijay Rural Engineering College fondly called as VREC is a private engineering college established in 1997 in Nizamabad, Telangana, India.It is 8 kilometers away from Nizamabad railway station and 9 kilometers from Nizamabad Bus Station.The college is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.HistoryVREC was established in 1997 with four branches of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a capacity of 40 seats per branch.The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2012.The initial strength of 160 improved every year and present intake is around 1200 (including Diploma,MCA.MBA and M.Tech).
It has been managed by Ideal Education Society.CampusThe campus is divided in PG and UG by A and B blocks respectively.Vijay College of Pharmacy is also situated in the VREC campus.The college has started JKC (Jawahar Knowledge Center) in 2006 and it is upgraded to JKC-Star Center.It is co-ordinated by Institute of Electronic Governance (IEG-Govt.
of A.P).
