Januar 1906 den Grundstein.Das Victoria Memorial war vom englischen Architekten William Emerson entworfen worden.
1921 wurde es fertiggestellt.
Die Gartenanlagen wurden von Lord Redesdale und Sir David Prain gestaltet.
