Detailed description is A group of VC badass chicks that yes, read, but mostly do amazing things together and build lasting relationships.
Ok, let's be honest.
We're a "book club", but reading is just part of what we're all about.
We're a group of awesome 20's and 30's girls only that are single, married or in a relationship, everyone is welcome.
Our meetups range from book discussions to clothing swaps.
So, if you're looking for your run of the mill boring book club, we are probably not for you.
The POINT of our group is to bring girls together to build lasting relationships.
If we read the same book, we ALWAYS have something to talk about.
However, we do not force reading onto anyone, you can still join in on all the other epic events that make us so fun and unique..

We're always open to YOUR ideas for meetups, and even if you've not cracked one of our "monthly" books open...you're still welcome! Just take a look through a few of our most recent meetups, and you'll see the diversity in events we do.
If you have an idea, but you're not sure the others will join, post it anyway! You never know, you're new best friend might like sky diving too! Just sayin'.

We try to read a book at least once a month, but sometimes we're so busy doing awesome meetups that we don't always make that mark.
We're totally open to know what YOU want to read and we vote on our facebook page or at least we try to! Owner reserves the right to choose if Y'all are doing more awesome things and you're just too busy to be bothered.

Our books discussions are themed with the books, so if you choose the book you host the event, please keep it themed.
For example, 50 shades of Grey we discussed at Karma Sutra Closet an upscale adult boutique.
Gone Girl's discussion took place during a murder mystery dinner that a member hosted.
You get the idea, right? In other words, we're not your typical book club, we have lots crazy events and make tons of amazing friendships along the way..

There is a $3 membership suggested donation once a year.
I call it a donation because I'm not going to run after you yelling "I want my $3".
If you want to help me pay for the group, which is $45 every 3 months, I would really appreciate it.
If you can't afford $3 a year, though I might suggest a new job, I will understand.
Our "bank" is totally public to the members, so you can see I'm not cashing in on this $3 at a time as most choose not to donate..
