Operativna jedinica razdjeljena je u 3 voda (po 30 vatrogasaca u svakom vodu), sa po tri odjeljenja svaki.
Svako odjeljenje sadrži po dvije grupe osposobljene za samostalno interveniranje.
Prvi i drugi vod su navalni vodovi, u kojima se nalaze pretežito mlađi vatrogasci zbog napora koji se iziskuju na vatrogasnim intervencijama.
