The idea of the Astronomy Organization in Lovely Professional University was credited to three visionaries who thought that having Student Research Organization shall enhance the research and development in the University.
They are Deepak Solanki (Ex-student ECE (Hons.)), Tushar Gupta (Ex-student CSE (Hons.)) and Rahul Kumar (Ex-faculty, LPU and member of Astronomy Club ‘Kritikka’, IIT Bombay).
The idea was worked upon by a few students Abhik Dasgupta (B.
Tech ECE), Shekhar Suman Singh (B.Tech CSE) and Ramesh Kumar (Ex-student CSE (LIT), LPU) and made UTTARA a reality.
