Detailed description is The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) was created to assist in the personal development and retention of Minority students at the University.
The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) is located in the Student Center in Suite 120This office was created to assist in the personal development and retention of Minority students at the University of South Alabama through academic support, mentoring and cultural programming.
The following organizations report to the OMSA office.
They are: African- American Student Association (AASA), Men of Excellence (MOX), Women of Excellence (WOX), Abenefoo Kuo Honor Society (ABK), NAACP, Unity and Spectrum, National Pan-Hellenic Council (Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority).
