Detailed description is US 43 Dragway is an all concrete 1/8 mile Dragstrip located in Ethridge, TN.
We boast 8 acres of paved pits, 6 staging lanes, and over 1600' of shutdown.

Seat belts must be worn by all competitors..

Drivers must start and finish the race in same vehicle..

Pro class: All run bracket class with no ET break.
Cross talk will be utilized.
Delay box / transbrakes are allowed.
Down track throttle controls / throttle stops are prohibited..

Footbrake: All run bracket class with no ET break.

Starting line rev limits prohibited.
Electric shifters allowed.
Dragsters are not allowed in footbrake..

Courtesy staging is enforced, no double bulbing.

US 43 utilizes “automatic tree” .
Once three stage bulbs are lit, a 10 second countdown begins.
If the 4th bulb is not lit in the allotted 10 seconds, the competitor is red lit.
Once all four stage bulbs are lit, the tree will automatically start down in 1.6 seconds..

Hard breaking at the finish line resulting in sliding of tires is strictly prohibited.
This is a serious safety hazard.
Violators will receive a warning for 1st offense.
2nd offense will result in a disqualification..

First round bye run will be determined by the “Run for the Money” winner.
Other round byes will be determined by previous round best reaction time.
All bye runs carry until taken, or the driver carrying the bye loses.
There will be a bye run drawn every round except final.
Racers are allowed one bye per race, with the exception of all racers remaining have all had byes.
In the event of an even number of cars in the round, bye car has lane choice..

Once a car reaches the head of staging, the driver must be prepared to fire and race.
If a vehicle fails to start, 2 minutes will be given to re-fire before DQ.
Lane swapping will not be tolerated once in the staging lanes.
Pairing will be at staging directors discretion if lane swapping occurs..

Car numbers and dial-ins are to be on the driver's side window and on the back window.

Dial ins are on the burnout dial board and then on the scoreboard.
