At UTC our mission is to provide quality and exciting artistic opportunities for young people in the Durham community.
We run a 2-week Youth Group Theatre Program every summer as well as a Fall/Winter Youth Group Theatre Program throughout the year..

The UTC Youth Group Theatre Program offers an extensive and creative exploration of all aspects of Musical Theatre including singing, acting, dancing, set design, prop design, costume and makeup design and sound design.
Our actors primarily receive quality instruction from the Director, Miss Salmers, and Co-Director Mr.
Torrenueva.
Miss Salmers is a Music, Drama, Dance and Visual Arts teacher with the Durham Board of Education as a Private Music Teacher at the studio.
Mr.
Torrenueva is currently attending York University completing his Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Voice, and is the President of Canada's Longest Running Collegiate A Cappella Group: WIBI A Cappella.
