Detailed description is Upper Michigan Central Model Railroad Club At the old club location, there was a 63' by 26' permanent layout.
This layout had 3 mainlines of track with an number of off-shoots and yards.
There was a helix to allow the trains to go from the main level to an upper level shelf layout.
The theme was the UP with iron ore mines, ore docks, saw mills, logging, and many other industries being added.
The new layout is located at the Belongie Station which is part of the Village at the U.P.
State Fairgrounds, It is a work in progress and will be also a U.P.
theme.
The group meets on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm and on Saturdays at 10am for work sessions.

Membership is $50.00 per year.
