La sede centrale dell'Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa è una cittadella monastica del XVI secolo, posta alle pendici del colle Sant'Elmo, che domina l'intera città e il golfo di Napoli.
Attualmente è un’attrezzatissima cittadella universitaria che ricopre una superficie di 33.000 mq, attraversata da giardini e spazi all’aperto per gli studenti.
