Detailed description is Connective Conversations|Curator and Critic Tours and Lectures is a partnership between The Ford Family Foundation and the UO School of Architecture and Allied Arts.
Connective Conversations offers a series of public lectures featuring nationally renowned art curators and critics brought to Oregon to join in community dialogue open to the public and to visit one-on-one with selected mid-career visual artists.
The partnership between the UO and The Ford Family Foundation launches the seventh and final element of The Ford Family Foundation’s Visual Arts Program..

The University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts in partnership with The Ford Family Foundation is pleased to announce the continuation of the Critic and Curator Tours and Lectures program, Connective Conversations | Inside Oregon Art 2011-2012.

The 2011-2012 Connective Conversations program at the University of Oregon consists of lectures by art historian and art critic George Baker of UCLA; Helen Molesworth, former full curator of contemporary art at the Harvard Art Museums and current chief curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston; Suzanne Ramljak, a renowned art historian, writer, curator and editor specializing in contemporary art and functional objects.
Ramjlakk is currently editor of Metalsmith magazine and curator at the American Federation of Arts.
She is former editor of Sculptor and Glass Quarterly magazines, and associate editor of American Ceramics.
In late 2012, a fourth visit is slated to take place with Jan Schall, curator of modern and contemporary art at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art..
